GAME DESCRIPTION
Heroes of The Pacific allows players to fly a variety of aircraft through 3D separate missions. Heroes of The Pacific is an arcade flight combat game based around the key battles in the Pacific Theater during WW II. Beginning with the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Heroes of The Pacific continues to unfold in epic detail throughout the battles of Midway, Iwo Jima, Coral Sea, and Guadalcanal with you as the hero who's skill, guts and determination decides whether the war will be won, or lost.
GAME FEATURES
* 25 actual WW II aircraft are available, plus hidden airplanes, including the Japanese Zero.
* More than 350 airplanes on-screen, each with full AI and dog-fighting physics.
* Incredible graphical details on each airplane and ship models (15,000-30,000 polygons) with multiple complex lighting effects.
* Realistic environments, including dynamic 3D water.
* Up to 8 wing-men, all controllable through an innovative, fast-access menu system.
* More than 30 missions taken from real battle events in the Pacific Theater campaign, including the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Battle of Midway, Wake Island, the Marianas and Iwo Jima.
* An engrossing storyline featuring rich character development against the backdrop of the intense naval conflict in WW II 's Pacific Theater.
* Multiplayer feature allows the player to take part in Split Screen, Link-up, or Online multiplayer battles: Dogfight, team Dogfight, Capture the Flag, Fox and Hounds - hold the flag the longest, Mulitplayer Missions - cooperative mode.
